GIANT PANDA GUERILLA DUB SQUAD is going to Negril, Jamaica for 3 weeks in March 2008! We'll be there from March 4 - March 26: performing live in concert every Tuesday and Saturday, plus more shows TBA. Negril is a beautiful place with great weather and lots of culture. White sand beaches, clear blue waters, fresh fruit, vegetables and seafood in abundance! Swimming, cliff jumping, fishing, hiking in the nearby hills, shopping, experiencing the culture, live music and meeting new people are just a few of the great activities. We spent 3 weeks in Negril last March (2007). It was an amazing experience! We performed numerous shows a week and got to open for legendary Jamaican musicians, such as Yellowman. We met people from all over America and made some great friends. The adventures, sights, and culture that we experienced were truly life changing and unforgettable. Jamaica is a very friendly and beautiful place. We can't wait to go back to Negril this March for more music and fun in the sun! Join GIANT PANDA GUERILLA DUB SQUAD for the spring break of a lifetime! We'll be in Negril from March 4 - March 26, performing numerous times a week. * Be sure to mention "Giant Panda" when you purchase a trip package * |

Negril is the kind of place where you can get the best of everything spring break is supposed to be about, it's really the best of both worlds as it offers everything from 50 foot high cliff jumps at Rick's Cafe to sick nightclubs and beach parties, no to mention world famous sunsets that could prove the existence of God and make Bob Ross paintings look like he was using a 54 pack of crayolas, with no built in sharpener in the box either. It's sort of an undiscovered location so it attracts the coolest crowds and everyone is there to just do the thing the way it's supposed to be done. Definitely leave the drama at home because when you are surrounded by so much natural beauty, cares and worries become petty. Check the galleries and you can see the pics of ram packed parties like IGNITE at the Jungle Nightclub or the chill out vibes at the No Woman No Cry beach bonfire with Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. You can party right on the beach and buy grilled fresh lobsters cheap- and when they say fresh they mean seriously fresh as in someone just literally swam out into the ocean and got them for you. With your toes in the sand and the band playing you are starting to get the point of what makes Negril so unique- and Giant Panda creates an unreal musical journey which you could swear you actually see and feel, at this party you can even go horseback riding along the beach. Or swap beads at Wednesday night's Mardi Gras VIP party at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and this year there is going to be the Toga party to end all Toga parties, when you buy your party pass you get a free toga in preparation for the madness and mayhem kraft-E delivers at every party they touch. After Mardi Gras the mayhem continues at the Old School party, RIP Blue and the week ends with the infamous Foam party at Margaritaville and the Skin Deep pool party at Travellers. Jamaica is all about gorgeous beach, the music, fun, and tons of interesting culture. Not many people know it but without Jamaica there would be no such thing as hip-hop or rap as we know it, and punk and rock too. And speaking of music Negril is also unique because it features a concert which is also a concept, called the Soul Rebellion. Some of the hottest acts perform at night on the main stage at the Jungle, in years past Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, TOK, Sasha, Sizzla, and many others all played at the Soul Rebellion giving signature performances in a safe and secure environment. It mixes lots of good up and comers in too with the more established acts in a great setting. There are lots of other shows that go on too, but Soul Rebellion is the most professional and the only one that benefits the local community directly. And at the concert it's all inclusive drinks and VIP all the way, meanwhile during the day it is a big cultural thing with everything that makes Jamaica special and unique on hand at Travellers Beach Resort. There is a giant wall of bricks there and you can paint your name or greek letters or school or whatever and then the bricks get used to help build schools. The concert also generates resources that then get directly invested back into the Negril public school system, so you can have the sickest time of your life and while doing what you do you kind of leave your mark on it all. And that's a good thing. Food wise there are tons of great undiscovered restaurants, so if you want you can really eat like kings, you might walk down the road and suddenly see this tiny Thai restaurant tucked up in the cliffs overlooking the water that is churning out authentic curries and noodle dishes, but then not a stone's throw away you could find a Jamaican woman hand making patties and other Jamaican foods nestled in a cove of bamboo while Rastas sit around a fire and debate reason with each other. Plenty of great Italian food too, everyone who comes to Jamaica gets touched by it in some way and many don't leave so you have someone like Luca at Sunrise Club making brick oven pizzas and calzones like they used to do in Brooklyn right off the main beach. You just have to look and you will be amazed at what you find... There are plenty of amazing side trips too, from hiking up water falls to going to visit Bob Marley's actual house, sometimes even his mom is around...how sick is that? Bob Marley's moms... |

| Jamaica where everything is laid back and just the chillest place ever! I have been there twice and every year it gets better, because you get to understand the place a little more each time you go. The food is simple and don't expect it to be fancy (Great jerk chix and Red Stripe) and the same with the hotels. Everything in Jamaica is relaxed and slower pace then the states... that's the best part about this destination if you want to relax, chill, and jam out with some reggae then go for it cause it will be the best week ever. Try the Cliff Jumping and hit up Rick's for a couple of shots! |

| Jamaica is awesome...It is a laid back chill vacation. You can sit back and relax on the beach, and then go out to open air bars at night. No raver fist pumping clubs in Negril... Just a bunch of chill people having a chill time. |
